Cinema Room
Our cinema room is great for catching up on favourite programmes or just relaxing with a film. The room is multi-purpose and can easily be converted to a games room or other communal use. We can also arrange to set up a screen for Skype calls with loved ones.
Landscaped Gardens
Our gardens are landscaped and designed to be accessible for all, with flat even surfaces and raised beds to promote independence and somewhere to sit and watch the world go by. Our garden areas have been thoughtfully planned to encourage everyone to enjoy the outdoors.
Communal Lounges
There are a selection of lounge spaces and dining rooms on each floor, allowing everyone freedom of choice and the independence to move around the building as they please.
Garden room
This room has easy access to the garden and provides a bright and welcoming space. Available for to sit and enjoy the sunshine from the floor to ceiling windows or maybe partake in some indoor/outdoor planting, either way it has a very relaxing feel to it.

My aunt loved her room and the food
My Aunt moved into Westhill Park on Monday, February 24th. She settled in very well, she loved her room and the food. She said the staff were very kind and helpful. On April 15th she developed a chest infection and was to be tested for COVID-19. She was admitted to hospital on April 25th and sadly died on the 27th of COVID-19. I'm sure the staff did all they could and we are only sorry that she didn't have more time to enjoy herself at Westhill Park.

Mum is safe and well looked after
It has been a trying time for everyone over the last few months but the staff have been wonderful, supportive to both my mother and myself. The regular phone calls to update me are very reassuring. The Lifestyle Team have worked hard to keep everyone entertained, coming up with some novel ideas. So pleased that Mum has been safe and well looked after. Thank you all.

It is more like a high-quality hotel
The staff at Westhill Park continue to go above and beyond what would be expected in a good care home. It is more like a high-quality hotel. My father has been looked after and entertained, even while confined to his room for two weeks. He is very happy there, and his family are very grateful that he is in such a wonderful home.

The staff have been brilliant
The last few weeks for these guys must have been so tough, but the staff have been brilliant and giving us an update every few days which as a family we have really appreciated. We can not express enough how grateful we are to the whole team for being there for the residents during these crazy times.

Mum could not have been made more welcome
When Mum arrived she could not have been made more welcome. Her bed was covered with towel swans and decorative covers. A welcome basket and card from the staff was on the table. Everyone is very friendly and do their best to make her feel at home. Her pain relief has been sorted and a district nurse involved in her care on day 3! As a retired school cook, she knows what she means when she says the food is lovely! Thank you Westhill Park.

Residential & Respite Care
Our staff are equipped with the latest technology enabling them to view and update care records instantly; allowing them to devote more of their time to listen and respond to residents' needs. Our friendly, well-trained staff understand that every individual has different needs, therefore we take the extra time to get to know everyone's likes, dislikes, passions and hobbies. In doing this we can support and care for individuals in the best and most comfortable way. We are also able to accommodate those looking for short-term, respite stays (subject to availability).
Dementia Care
Living with dementia can be a very difficult and lonely experience; our home provides the care and support needed to ensure it doesn't have to be that way. All staff undergo a training course to provide them with insight into the various forms of dementia and the complexities that can sometimes go along with it. Residents living with dementia receive the patience, empathy and dignity they require in order to sustain their overall well-being.
Technology
Person Centred Software (PCS) is available to our staff through a handheld device similar to a mobile phone and plays an integral part to our care delivery. PCS enables our team to stay up to date; by the hour, on any changes to an individual's care needs or requirements. By improving efficiency within our staff teams, they can spend their time where it is most important and that is with our residents.
