At Westhill Park we like to make sure that we are doing everything we can to allow our residents to live their life to the fullest.

Recently with the announcements on the news of restrictions being lifted for some holiday destinations, our residents have been discussing what they wish they could do! Our Lifestyle team sprang into action and dedicated a day for our residents to have a restriction safe holiday to Mexico, all from the comfort of their home.

We began the day ‘boarding’ into the cinema room where residents received their passports and boarding passes before getting dressed up to get in the Mexican spirit!

Residents then enjoyed a tour of Mexico City, seeing and learning about all the sites and what the country has to offer.
Later in the day residents got to taste a light snack of nachos, washed down with mojitos.

Our residents at Westhill always love something out of the ordinary and our Mexico day was something that they thoroughly enjoyed. It was a talking point amongst the residents and brightened the day lifting everyone’s spirits.

One resident commented, ‘you all look brilliant in your outfits’. Another added, ‘It is nice to be included in these activities, it’s something different for us. Thank you!’.
