Residents of Marham House spent the afternoon getting to know our Operations Director Daniel Rowark better, whilst enjoying coffee, cake and dancing. Residents were invited downstairs into the café area for the first time since lockdown to socialise in a change of scenery.

Marham House endeavours to create special bonds between care staff and the residents. We believe that this relationship improves care quality and encourages a warm, homely atmosphere. Whilst some of the elderly in society have previously experienced the hardships of loneliness, here at Marham House we want to address these concerns by providing social events such as, ballroom evenings, quizzes, afternoon tea, games, cheese and wine evenings, etc.

This engagement and peer support allows resident to become socially productive proving a developed social identity.

Our aim at Marham House is to provide our residents with a lifestyle choice, we believe every individual residents deserves the opportunity to have choice and freedom, whilst we eliminate the daily stresses, giving residents the ability to live their lives.
