The sun was shinning on this beautiful Easter weekend and residents were spoilt for choice with activities galore.
Hazel End residents started the bank holiday weekend with a church service on Good Friday, followed by arts and crafts and Easter baking on the Saturday, finishing with a traditional Easter Egg hunt on Easter Sunday.
Our lifestyle team work incredibly hard to provide our residents with varied and exciting lifestyle programmes that offer them a lifestyle choice and, enable our people to be the best versions of themselves that they can be.
George King Lifestyle Lead at Hazel End Care Homme commented, “Holidays like Easter can be difficult for residents during COVID, but we have really tried to keep traditions and make it as fun as possible for everyone this year. From Church services to wreath making, to baking and egg hunts! There has been a bit of everything going on. There has been a lovely atmosphere about Hazel End there is almost an air of hope and new beginnings which really mirrors the current climate we are all facing. It’s so important to make these special times for everyone and keeping in contact with relatives, which is why we have included families in things such as Facebook competitions for the best Easter wreath, making memories for everyone.”
We are changing the face of caring for older people, a happy team creates, happy residents living fulfilled lives. We are making a difference each and every day.
